Personally I'd rather they just let him sit if he didn't want to play. The o-line is good enough that a serviceable back will get plenty of yards. I know Zeke does more than just run and I get it, he's probably the best overall RB in the league right now, but he's not necessary to win every game. The Cowboys had ALL the leverage in this situation and they end up looking like idiots.

I will enjoy watching Garrett twist until the rope finally breaks this Sunday. It's been painful watching this year and really most other years. Garrett is not a head coach. He may be smart but he can't make in-game decisions to save his life. He can't formulate and effective game plan. He can't make adjustments. He can't do things the head coach is supposed to do. The only thing he's done well is talk Jerry's talk and apparently he gives good motivational speeches. The team doesn't need an overpaid cheerleader, it needs a fucking coach.

The truly fucked up part of this season is that they still have a chance to win the division.

They are the 2-8 high school team that still makes the playoffs.

I noticed that some fans are griping at Corby for taking vacation during this part of football season. If your opinion makes me agree with Snake on something, you might want to rethink it.

I guess the big debate is whether Garrett was ultimately responsible for the highs and lows the last 10 years. Was the rare instances of success due to his leadership or could any spare-to-fare coach have gotten the same results with the personnel he was given (players and coaches)? And would a more competent coach have had more success under the same circumstances? I'm just some guy in the next cubicle so what do I know, but I tend to lean towards the latter. Garrett is a smart guy and deals with the media well, and we've always heard he can give rousing speeches that get the players hyped up, but what about his actual coaching abilities? Does he oversee any strategery or game planning? Does he make or suggest any game time adjustments to counter what the other team is doing? Does he make any decisions at all?

Did you make a funny just to see if anyone was reading? If by "well", you means never says anything and gives the same canned responses over and over, he's pretty damn good at it.

He's never the "story". There haven't been any incidents of "The Bears are who we thought they were!" or "I'm a man! I'm forty!" or "I would have shaken his hand but he ran his fat butt off the field!" etc. He hasn't said anything to embarrass himself, the team or the organization, so that won't play into him staying or going.
