I don't know what the condition is, but right now it's one first round pick.

Simmons also tweeted that the NBA players are in it for the long haul because they deferred money from their contracts to get it in case of a lockout. Someone asked him if they taught the time value of money at Holy Cross.

From what I read earlier, it's a 1st round in '12 and a conditional 2nd in '13 that becomes a 1st if the Raiders make the AFC championship this year or next. At the time the tweet came across, it was being reported as a 1st in both years.

Simmons isn't what he was 5 years ago. He's furiously anti-owner with respect to the NBA work stoppage, a position that probably goes back to his disgust over the Sonics moving to OKC.
