And yet they've still won a playoff game more recently than the Cowboys.

I am. Zorn was in over his head from the beginning. It's a start, though they still need new players.

I can't believe that Snyder hired Shanahan while Phil Fulmer is still available!

I know you're just doing this to get a rise out of me, but I can name three worse hires in the last two years between our two favorite teams. So I'm going to go ahead and deny this one.

After watching Braylon Edwards drop a pass in the end zone against the Bengals just now, I've got to wonder what people see in this guy. He ONLY dropped 7 passes this year? Crap on that.

He beat some CB on MNF a few weeks back and dropped a 70+ yd TD that hit him perfectly in stride. The dude will make some tough catches, but he drops so many easy ones.

Man. The Bengals are in trouble. They are getting strummed at home by a team with a rookie QB, a wideout with butter fingers and a substitute punter.

Apparently football is a lot harder when you're not cheating.

that kicker for arizona looks like he has all kinds of excuses for blowing that field goal. he hasn't stopped yapping since the attempt.

Good grief. What a way to win a game. No defense is played at all, but a defensive score wins it. And best of all, Sturm is sad.

I thought so at first, but they showed him a couple of minutes later on the sidelines still going on about it. His body language didn't look like "I'm sorry guys" but more like "that wind is ridiculous" or "it's so hard to plant your foot on that turf" or whatever.

Well, this Saints-Cardinals game looks rather offensive. The birds scored on the first play, the Saints marched right down the field and scored themselves. Me like.

Yep. It turned dull rather quickly. I like both teams, so at least one of my faves will advance.

Thank goodness we have Brad and Babe on the radio side of things.

While on the road today I listened to Kevin somesuch on Westwood One radio. On every play he sped his speech up to auctioneer speed. It made the game impossible to follow.

Is it bad karma to hope and pray that Favre leaves the game today permanently paralyzed from the neck down? That douche has thrown out enough bad karma in his life to deserve it.

Oh, and looks like the refs are on ol Brett's side. They've allowed this second drive to stay alive 3 times by penalties called with fairly late flags.
