:babyarm: I would’ve been thrilled 14 years ago. I’m so over the ticket now though. Always did like Dave tho.

Now replace Corby and Bob with Dan and Jake and I'm in. Move Bob to 10-12 with Donny and put Norm out to pasture. Let Corby find another job. Dead air from 12-3.

I lol'd when Corby introduced Davey.

"We've been wanting to add a 3rd host for years but just couldn't figure out a way to do it until now"

Dingu listening from his couch: "what the ever loving fuck..."

I haven't listened to Rhyner's interview with Sirois yet, but I read that MS said Cat offered the 3rd host spot to him but he didn't take it because he works with his brother in the afternoon. So I have 2 questions:
- Why would the Ticket torture its listeners with 2x megadouchery during drive time and
- Does Dingu just eat a bullet knowing that Cat wanted anyone but him considered a host?

I listened to Rhyner's podcast with Danny and as much as I could stomach of the one with Sirois. I didn't really get the impression that Danny was angling for or interested in the 3rd host spot. He said he was tired of the grind. He talked a little about thinking he could contribute more, but acknowledged he didn't really think he had enough in his bag to host. I kinda laughed when he talked about playing a gig with his son's band. Playing in a band with him sometimes doesn't end well. I didn't hate Danny as much as some and Rhyner is a pretty good interviewer.

Sirois sounds like a whiny bitch. He says he quit over money and talks about how he's struggled financially since his divorce, but then mentions the big European trip he took right before he quit and leaves out that he also went to the US Open and the Indianapolis 500 around the same time. This isn't a guy that's living in a tent under a bridge. He describes feeling undervalued and that I can understand. I'm not sure where you read that he was offered the 3rd host spot. He very clearly says he was offered Danny's producer spot for a little more money and that was when he told the station he was leaving. He said he would have considered staying if the station had offered him perks that were "free" like going on trips (didn't he go to the Super Bowl in Miami a few years ago?). He also complains that he wasn't allowed to participate in the campound despite numerous "online petitions and social media posts" asking the station to let him. I bailed on listening when Rhyner changed the subject away from The Ticket. What a douche.

I read the bit about Sirois on Facebook.

When Danny announced he was leaving, he said it was because there wasn't any room for him to advance: "Everyone here is about my age (50), so by the time anyone retires, I'll be retiring, too".

i gotta say I have really enjoyed Davey back on full time. For the last few years I've just pulled up Spotify for the drive home, but since Davey has returned I've tuned in about 50% of the time. What I've caught I liked. He knows a lot more about sports than I remember. He makes clear, intelligent points without bluster or hyperbole. Plus he's funny as hell.

Is he transitioning, too?
