I don't guess there's any point in trying to shake him, wake him, is there?

Jurassic Park is one of the best novels I've ever read. Fuck that feel good shit that Spielberg put on the big screen. That book scared the shit out of me when I was 15 years old. The only other book of his I've read was Airframe.

He is in, but he almost ruins Hendrix's version of the Star Spangled Banner at Woodstock with that random ass drumming. Everytime I see that clip, I think, "Shut the fuck up, Mitch!".

note to former classic rock dj's: music doesn't begin and end with Southern California Country rockers.

:babyarm: :babyarm: :babyarm: Corby is a musical blowhard as well, but at least he has an open mind. Danny & Rhyner are stuck in their ruts. By the way, Petty Theft-ain't.that.great.

Shit, I remember years ago, me and Fruitdog were at a summer bash, (before Petty Theft was in existence) and Rhyner got up to sing.
We both looked at each other with serious WTF looks, like, 'he's singing?'

I like that when this got brought up on Stern's show, Artie (a musical idiot) mentioned having seen documentaries of a number of punk bands, and that they all name check the Stooges as inspiration.
not to mention this neo-garageband sound (White Stripes, Black Keys) definitely owe a shitload to the Stooges.
Fuckin' morons.

Myep. I heard him at Ticketstock during the Timewasters and thought this has got to be a bit. Then he puts a band together??? WTF??? At least Danny and Corby have musical talent. Rhyner, not so much.
