I sent a certified letter via the US Postal Service to everyone who is considering playing but to answer you now, I have no problems playing with non-douches.

The big thing is the money. Not gonna ask anyone to send a check to a random address. So gonna trust that you'll all show up and have cash in hand. It's actually $150 a team, son only $15 a person. The non-usual Jacksox will hit at the bottom of the order and play where others don't want.

Actually, can they hit at the top of the order and play the more important positions?

I vote Diello head coach and GM and your buddies can play and bat anywhere they want. This isn't the Jacksox of old so we'll do whatever you tell us.

The others of us will be playing for a Bears team as well. So whatever screwing around you want to do with the lineups (a favorite of Da Bears is to hit by weight).

Drinking I believe is permitted in the parking lot, tail gating style. And it's usually followed up by Drinking at Bobby V's at Bowen and I20.

It'll be at the South Cooper fields (Harold Patterson Sports Complex) off Bardin Rd. behind the WalMart at Cooper and I20. Be prepared to be there early, like 8:00 or so.

Geez, I'm gonna have to get up earlier than I do for work for this.

I don't know the exact time, but as of now there are 16 teams, and I've played in several tournaments that start that early. It just means you start drinking early than you normally would on a Saturday.

I was thinking about having the fam come along and hang out and watch but it sounds like this is more of a boys Saturday out kind of thing.
