I was thinking more of the balls that magically got by grubes. 4 or 5 low bouncers in a row right at grubes, about 18" off the ground. Unfortunately, grubes' glove never went closer than 24" to the ground.

My reflexes have slowed to the point that I need a 30 second head start and a digitized map with an exact location of where the ball will be before I can field it cleanly, hence my retirement.
