Any of you Honkey's having trouble with your Uverse tv? I'm having bad lag time in menu's, channel changes etc..

well, i can't afford that kind of stuff. but then again, I don't travel to europe either. I'm just a common man from texas

Yes. I also have had them out twice to fix issues with freezes and blue screens. Still nothing.

I have a "friend" who says he has had to reset his twice a day due to it freezing up.

talked to uverse support. they ran a line test. said there were upgrades going into the gateways.
If you haven't already restarted your gateway you should. Seems to have helped, but then again its only been one night.

How does one reset the gateway? How would you explain it to an 8 year old?

I think you need Dean Stockwell and Ziggy to get it done. Then maybe after you've put right what once went wrong you can reset the gateway and make that final leap home.

Unplug the gateway from the power outlet, count to 25 two times. then plug it back in.

Turn on all uverse tv boxes.

I've had the lag time issue for a few months now. It all started with the last big DVR software upgrade that added pausing and rewinding live TV on any box.
