I think I'm going to rate my success by how many current baseball players I can find that out-weigh me.

So it's 80lbs down now. For the first time I am setting a goal for myself. I have a family reunion in June and most of the people there won't have seen me since the wedding. I want to drop 20 pounds between now and then to make it an even 100lbs. We'll see how I do with a time-frame to work with.

Officially hit the 90 pound mark about an hour ago. 30 days now to drop 10 pounds.

One of my favorite pastimes now is to weigh myself immediately pre- and post-dump. Right as I started this whole thing more than a year ago, a night of wings resulted in a four-pound poop session. With better eating habits, poops are far lighter, despite a heavy fiber intake.

That's crap. The bigger you are, the faster the weight comes off. Your 50 is probably the equivalent of my 100 and probably then some. I'm willing to bet that I'm right around where you started from now. And I'm also willing to bet the next 50+ don't come off as "easy" as the rest has. I can't cut back on what I eat any more. So it's going to be up to more exercise.

That's not for a couple weeks. The last time most of them saw me was in the before pic at the wedding.

The most asked question so is "how did you do it?" I always tell them that all those things they told you when you were young actually work. Eat less. Eat better. Exercise.

I have been inspired. I've lost 8lbs. Back down to 177. At my heaviest, I was over 215. I lost 40 and have gained some back by being lazy and eating too much at dinner. Worked out a few times and controlled food portions.
