Since April I have lost more than 55 pounds. I'm on the Diello-patented "Don't Eat So Fucking Much" diet. And whaddyaknow? The shit works!

As an experiment, the wife and I went vegetarian for a month at the first of the year (her sister is one). Call it pescatarian as we allowed fish. But a diet consisting of fettucine alfredo, cheese enchiladas, and fried shrimp really doesn't help. But it proved that I could go without some of my favorite things.

The reason I say I've lost the weight "since April" is because that's when I got a scale. I had to order it from a fat-ass specialty place. Normal scales don't go high enough. First time I got on, I was at 355. I worked at a warehouse a few years back with a big industrial scale and I saw 375 once. Those were dark days. I was eating Wendy's practically once a day.

So I started treating this like being an alcoholic or an addict. No more fast food. No beef. Nothing fried. And cut every portion. Lots of salad. I lost 35 pounds in the first three months just doing that.

I've added an exercise routine to that now:
Walk.
A lot.

3-4 miles usually 5 days a week. 3 days on a treadmill at around 4 miles an hour at a high grade, weekends around the neighborhood a few times.

But get this straight--I am still one fat motherfucker. And I will always be one fat motherfucker. Like I say, an alcoholic. I wasn't lucky enough to win the genetic lottery and be able to eat whatever I want like some people. But I can't change that. It goes to show how fat I am that I can lose 55 pounds and still be morbidly obese. But this is what I roughly weighed in high school, oh so long ago.

The idea is that this is a permanent change. I have no predetermined goal or ideal weight I want to hit where I celebrate with intravenous gravy straight into the veins and a DQ Blizzard enema. What I want is to be able to ride in an airplane comfortably. I want to get upset about the stupid fashion choices at the mall. I want to be able to chase my kids around the house eventually. I want to be able to see my dick when I get a hand-job. I have simple dreams, really.

So we'll see how long this continues with three simple rules:

Eat less.
Eat better.
Exercise.

Good for you, buddy. I lost 40 lbs by just by eating less. That crap does work. You'll be in bikini shape in no time.

I'm doing meth. I gained weight, though, because it made me crave shakes.

Should be starting the new year under 290. I weighed around 285 in high school. That would put it just past 65 pounds lost. Haven't been able to exercise much these last few weeks so it's all been portion/calorie control.

What about pussy control?

Eat less (and drink less burra)

Exercise real strong good.

I'm happy to report that I am down 20 lbs.
I have not had alcohol since the dreadful drunken night of my birthday. NYE.
stopped drinking sody pops, & 5 cups of coffee per day.
I feel like I'm kicking some ass in the gym. I'm sleeping better.
Today I wore a pearl snap shirt that I have not worn in about 12 years. (with minimal CleBelly sticking out)
Good times Texas Humans! I hope I do better than I've acted, under neath that tree with that stocking up there.

You gents have inspired meh. I've decided to start training for a 5k run. Tonight I did about 1 1/2 miles alternating walking and running. I actually feel ok at the moment, but the chances of fail at some point is still about 95%.

I hit the treadmill today for 45 minutes. First time since November, I think.

Now we know why you aren't losing weight. You are supposed to walk/run on it. Not just hit it.

Update, as of yessirdee I'm down 31lbs. No you can't sleep with me.

I'm down two sizes in shirts. Soon I may actually be able to buy something at a non-tall&fat store!

So the first part of the year was a push. After a year of no fast-food I decided to let a few things slide. I still ate far less than I would've two or three years ago. The one positive was that I didn't gain any weight, just stayed roughly the same. But the downward slope has begun again. I stalled at 295 until this month and am now at 280, which makes it 75 pounds down. I basically started this all last April, so the one-year mark is here. I'll take 75 pounds in a year.

On another note, elliptical machines suck and the women can keep those things. I felt really awkward and couldn't get a stride down right. I'll stick with the treadmill for now.

I've lost a little weight and bought a couple of suits. I'm thinking about bring the dressed up look back and wearing them to The Ballpark. I might carry a rolled up newspaper as well.
