The kids had a good game today but they ran out of steam in the 4th quarter and let it all go to shit. The coach of the other was way too excited when it happened. I don't where they get these guys. Just let these kids play without putting too much pressure on them, m'kay?

Tit Jr scored his first goal of the year today. :fist:

We had our first win yesterday. Of course, we don't keep score, but the kids keep track of that shit on their own and they were hella cited by the sweet taste of victory. They've come a long way and every one of them has improved. That has nothing to do with me. I'm just there to supply balls to kick around and generally keep order. But I'm still proud of the little bastards.

This afternoon's game was canceled due to rain. Before the rain started though, there was lightning, so they cleared everyone off the fields and called for a delay. This is when I learned that the only game we should sign these kids up for is Grabass. They loooove to play that shit. They don't need a stinkin' ball, they can just chase 'n grab, chase 'n grab, wrestle on the ground, and chase 'n grab. Buncha queers, I tell ya.

I think we had intramural Grabass at North Texas State when I was there.

The best, most disciplined, athletic kids I have are still better at grabass than the sport they are good at

We won again today, and I'm not throwing out the usual disclaimer about not keeping score, because the coaches for the other team were capital-A Assholes. Drawing up plays, yelling at the kids...you name it , they did it. I think their son (this was a husband and wife coaching staff) was a chunky little over-aggressive fuck. He got tripped up at one point and shoved the kid on my team who got in his way. The kid on my team shoved his ass right back before the ref jumped in. That kid's normally a spaz, but I was proud of him for not taking shit from a homunculus roid-ragin' Mexican brat. One of my team parents used to coach and these assholes were his assistants. I mentioned to him how they really take it seriously. He agreed, but remained tight-lipped. He just smiled and nodded. That was I all needed to know. I left my best players in late in the game and my lil bastards shut them down. These kids made their coach proud today. Damn proud.

Today was the final game of the season. We scored 7, they scored 2. That's not important though because the other coach was cool. Kinda sucks that we gotta quit now that these kids have figured out how to play. Hopefully they'll all be back next season. Also got one parent who volunteered to help coach. About fuckin' time.

I checked the team page to see if they've updated the rosters for the spring season. There's a whopping 2 kids returning to the team, one of which is my own. I volunteered for this because everyone wanted to keep the team together and now they've either given up or lost interest.

Screw that. If I knew they weren't all coming back, my ass would be sitting in the bleachers again. I kinda wonder if most of them didn't know it was already time to sign up. It's not like I bothered to remind any of them.

Spring season is definately here. First game is tomorrow and it coincides with the first rainout. This sucks because it's easier to teach these little shits what to do after they've been in a game and you can tell them how they fucked it all up.
