While I could stand to shed a few pounds, that's not what's causing my sleep apnea. I've had this dating back to my Chris Chris workout days. I had a sleep study performed and it was concluded I had severe sleep apnea.

I was reluctant to go to the sleep study cuz I already knew I had sleep apnea and I didn't feel like sleeping in some strange place without my creature comforts but I figured it might help my chances of getting my insurance to pony up the money since I could send them documentable evidence that a specialist said that I stopped breathing in my sleep. After the study he wanted me to come in again so I could wear the c-pap and see how much it assisted me with breathing but I had already made up my mind that even if it did, there was no way in hell I was going to wear that shit so I never went back. I would much rather pay the money to get it fixed than live with a c-pap machine. The local anesthesia has worn off and now it hurts like hell to swallow the smallest amount of water. He prescribed me some hydrocodone so all ain't too bad.
