One of the greatest innovations of our time is the self-service checkout stand. It helps stores and it helps people like Hoob who wants to hurry through the line with a half gallon of milk or somesuch.

But some dumbass has to mess things up, right? You got it. Went to Albertson's yesterday to buy waffles for my wife, had to wait a long time because two of the four stations had dumbfucks who had pushed CARTS FULL of groceries to the self check stand. You know what? You people are dumbasses. One whore cow didn't even have the cart pushed close to the stand, which meant it took her fat dumb ass even longer to check out her stuff. Of course she had numerous long and slender vegetables to deal with.

The other two stations were crammed with regular people who had an item or two to check out. I felt sorry for them because they were inconvenienced by two dumbasses.

Dumbasses.

Four stations.
1 had an older woman paying with coin change. (!)
1 had a dipshit who couldn't figure out how to enter bananas.
1 was arguing about a damn coupon
1 had some idiot chatting away on their cellphone while sloooowly scanning stuff.

I hate people. All people.

Oh, thanks for reminding me about paying with cash. The other day one dumbass was doing a split tender, cash and a card. And eff anybody using coupons at one of these things.

The other side of that coin is going to Home Depot before 9am and seeing that they only have self checkout stands open. If I'm buying $200 worth of miscellaneous crap for work, I don't want to ring that shit up myself.

Someone should always be a the contractor checkout. just sayin.

That's where I go to checkout.

I go to self checkouts to avoid any chance that the cashier will engage in small talk or chit chat (unless she's hot, then I'm willing to take my chances she might make eye contact), yet it seems I'm always stuck behind some idiot who can't figure out scan, bag, pay, put your shit in your cart, and get out of my way.

The cell phone douche bag always make me cringe. And if you have produce and can't figure out how to enter the codes, go to the regular checkout.

Going home from last night's gig, immediately came upon a wreck on I-30. It was one of the kind with the upside down car, maybe dead driver, makes everyone else mind their manners for a few miles afterward.

But not this time. About 15 seconds after I cleared this thing, some dumbass flew by me going 90 or so. Big balls or dumbass? My vote is for dumbass. A stupid dumbass.

Patrick Crayton doesn't want to live in the past. He wants to talk about this season. Too bad he is known for dropping a big pass against the Giants in the playoffs two years ago and hasn't done anything to make us forget it.

Anybody who wanted Derek Holland to keep pitching tonight. He had thrown 118 pitches. Wash would have been correct to not even let him come out for the 9th. Most people don't remember the story of John Dettmer's debut, who Kevin Kennedy left in a tie game for 144 pitches so he could get a win. He lost the game and never was very good after that.

If you make a tribute slideshow and put it on youtube and don't label it properly, you are a dumbass. I just now went looking for videos from an older performer and 2 out of 3 were slideshows made up by some dumbass and not actual videos of anyone. It's annoying. One of them was actually a jukebox PLAYING THE SONG ON A 45 rpm record, which made for a really crappy sound.

Does anyone ever sit through these things? If they do, they are a dumbass.

Heres the scenario: A batter hits a ball onto the grassy area at the Ballpark and there is a scramble for the home run ball. In the first few years it was common to see little kids scramble for the ball.

These days there are a large number of fully-grown dumbasses who actually battle little kids for the ball. They shove elementary or junior high kids out of the way to get a ball that is worth less than $5. You know what? Anybody that battles a kid for a baseball that doesn't have any historical significance is a dumbass. They should be ejected from the stadium while wearing a dunce cap. Dumbasses.

Ok, I got a giggle out of the Grand Prairie officers and a dispatcher getting into trouble for sending this picture around. It's a funny pic, but they shouldn't have done it and they should have been disciplined. Colossal dumbasses.

Am at the registers of a department store today and I get stuck behind a douche couple who had selected some sort of odd-looking decanters from the housewares department. They asked the person at the checkstand if there was more in the back.

The place was crawling with sales associates, they could have asked any of them. But no! These two dumbasses walked by all of these workers and instead inconvenienced as many other people as possible by asking someone who doesn't work on the floor to deal with this. The store quickly ran other checkers up there to counteract these dumbasses.
