Why would you get a P220 carry? Isn't that just 8+1? I bet you want it just cause it's a .45 don't you. IMHO for carry P229 in 9mm or go home. 13+1! Overall length and width is the same but height is slightly shorter plus they have a SAS gen 2 model of the 229. Did you know you can buy surplus german police turn in sig P225s for like $350 or at least you could a couple of months ago. Personally if I started carrying I would probably get a Glock 19. Metal framed guns just seem too heavy to carry all the time.

been catching up on cycling lately.
I've been riding a trail bike on roads to try to get back into cycling shape. (it's a heavier ass bike, for sure)

I think overall I did about 90 miles last week. Took two days off.
I'm gonna try for 25 or so today.
Mental note: change music on mp3 player. If I hear 'Misty Mountain Hop' one more time, I'm offing a hippie.

90 miles: Dang, that's really good especially on an off-road bike. In Hoob miles, that's about 140.

There is a riding group up here that rides trail bikes on the road once a week. I've never joined them, though.

I've tried the group riding thing, but eventually it's kind of a whip.
I like riding on my own. but that's me.

about to go out and annoy the greater North Dallas community with riding.

Do they usually ride faster or slower? I always figured I was too slow to ride with a group and never tried it.

there are groups based on average speed; there are some that ride out of Richardson Bike Mart that have groups in the 15-17mph, 19mph, and beyond 20 or so.
(those are approximate, but you get the idea)
