I'm currently listening to Chinese Democracy...so you don't have to. I'm only listening because after all this time, I kinda want to since it's such a legendary fiasco. So I got a copy (not saying how), and Holy Christ, this is one messy, bloated, sack of shit! I didn't expect much, but I thought I might be surprised by a couple tracks and have something new worth keeping in the shuffle for a while. So far, nothing. Lots of over-emoting and computerized vocal tricks that Slash, et al. would've never put up with. In fact, those guys end up as the winners here since it proves Axl has zero skillz on his own. This is trash. An epic turd. Save your ears and avoid it. Listen to Creed or Nickelback first. I'm not joking when I say that. This is GOD-AWFUL.

Apparently he's in there somewhere, but it's too hard to tell through all the layers of effects and production. I don't think I heard any bass at all. Def Leppard sounds more organic than this thing.
