However, the new one from Titus Andronicus, "The Monitor", melted my fucking face. Who knew 9-minute garage rock anthems about the Civil War could be so much fun? Best album of the year so far.

Ray Davies put on a kickass show tonight. Actually got all the olds in this Dallas crowd into it. There was one annoying fucktard in my line of view who kept getting up and drunk dancing. He'd even shout out shit while Ray was telling a story. Real fuckin' douchebag, this guy. He's the reason we should be allowed to bring dart guns to shows.
