Didn't Edie Falco play a part in this movie?

I got it, Terd.

We all got it, Stu just doesn't have a sense of humor.

Tonight at 9pm - You Can't Take It With You from 1938. This is a nice fun movie. Jean Arthur is in it. She's the hot blond from Mr Smith Goes to Washington. 110 minutes.

Tonight:

On the Waterfront - Brando and Malden are fantastic.
From Here to Eternity - Movie about Pearl Harbor right before the attack. Frank Sinatra wins the most undeserved best supporting actor award. Otherwise, the movie is great.
Tom Jones - Skip
Bonnie and Clyde - Two words...Faye.Dunaway

Tonight at 7pm - It Happened One Night. 105 minutes. Tit had a good review of it.

The main attraction tonight at 9pm:

One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest from 1975. It swept the 4 major awards and took best screenplay. So many great characters in this. There are a lot of young actors in this that went on to have amazing careers. Chief is one of the great minor characters in film.

Tonight on TCM at 9pm - The Lost Weekend from 1945. This won Best Actor, Director, Flick and Writing. This movie is pretty depressing. It's about an alcoholic really losing it over a weekend. Pretty depressing winner after the feel good Going My Way. The following year would honor The Best Years of or Lives.

Tonight on the HDMI 3 input on my TV - A blue screen. I'm willing to bet that you'll enjoy it over Stu's recomendation. It won best picture of my butt in 1987. Enjoy.

If you like John Wayne and you like Westerns, then you will like 7pm tonight. From 1956, The Searchers. This isn't a real happy feel-good western. Some call it Wayne's best performance. Good movie. 119 minutes.

Interested. Thursday is NBC night, but I'll TiVo this for later.

Good call, red. I enjoyed the movie. One of Jdub's finer performances.

Tonight at 8:45pm on TCM, In Which we Serve. This is a British movie from 1942. It tells the story of the construction of a navy ship and the men that serve on it. The significance is the timing of the movie. They don't hide the loss of life of the sailors and of the family members at home getting blown up in the bombing of England by the Germans.

I love Gettysburg. Some of the Martin Sheen spots run a little long, but it's a great flick.

Tit is right. I love me some war movies but Gettysburg and Gods and Generals wear me out. Yawn city. The books they are based on are some of my favorites tho, especially The Killer Angels. I remember in the 8th grade it was required reading and I think I ended up reading it in a couple of days. Not long after I finished some bitch complained to her mom because the book contained the words ass and hell and my history teacher had to cancel the assignment. So fucking ridiculous and my first taste of PC bullshit. Brool story co.
