I got a couple squids who're fighting over gets the copy of, of all things, Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakual. I got a stack of blank DVDs. Now I need to know what software to use to make a backup copy of this retarded fuckin' movie so these mongoloids will stop fighting. Any recommendations on what to use? I prefer free, but I'll pay for something that kicks all kinds of ass. Thanks forum.

Are you familiar with usenet groups? It would be a helluva lot easier to d/l a precreated .iso and burn it. Illegal, but no guilty conscious if you own the disc.

I'm not above that. I own a copy and just want a backup. It's not like I do this all the time.

With his opinions on Danks, Volquez, and Diamond, I'd say Somey was a good DVD ripper.

I have used two different methods:

1). Used "DVDFab 7" to decode and can burn directly on to a DVD-9 blank disk. If you are using a DVD-5, then use "DVD Shrink 3.2" to compress it to fit. Then burn it with "Nero" or some other burning software.

2). Used "AnyDVD" to decode and then companion software, "CloneDVD2" to burn it.

I have found that AnyDVD keeps their updates more current, so for newly released movies, it might be preferable.

Also, if you hate scanning case inserts and disk labels like I do, you can find just about everything at CD Covers

DVDfab will shrink it to DVD 5 as well, then use nero to burn.

vcdhelp.com is where i've gone for at least 10 years when I needed to get info on shit like this.
