Michael Irvin loses ESPN Radio show in Dallas

11:26 AM CST on Friday, February 5, 2010

By BARRY HORN / The Dallas Morning News

Michael Irvin has done his last radio show for ESPN-FM 103.3 in Dallas.

"The show was not performing and we had previously determined to end the show," ESPN spokesman Josh Krulewitz told me.

Krulewitz said news of a lawsuit filed in Fort Lauderdale alleging a rape in 2007 simply expedited the situation.

Irvin's also had was falling ratings.

Ben & Skin start today.

Irvin's other employer, NFL Network, told me earlier this morning they had not decided if Irvin would work any more Super Bowl studios.

Month ago woman makes rape accusation which makes Front Page news, now they are dismissing or not pursuing in charges and that news barely registers.
