Even if that's real, it doesn't tell us much. Jack and Locke are doing shit in the final episode. Big surprise.

So I'm loving the last episodes. And they answered a question from like episode 3 this past week. But we pretty much already knew it anyway. The man in black was "Jack's Dad" on the island.

My point is that now it is in the form of Locke. But Locke's original dead body is on the island, in that big case Jacob's people were carrying from the plane. But when they found Jack's dad's coffin back in the first season, it was empty, as if it was using the actual body, not just taking on his appearance. Just curious.

Funny that this has me asking questions but I totally buy that dumb bitch a couple episodes back tossing down a bag of dynamite about 30 seconds after saying how extremely volatile it was. Or Jack being about 5 feet from that shell that hit the beach and not even getting a scratch.

and if a fucking knife to the chest doesn't even make smokey blink then why should I believe an artillery shell could hurt him. Besides, say Locke's body did get blown to bits couldn't he just go back to his old form or take any number of other forms? Why would they even bother shipping whatever kind of gun they are using to the islands?

I read someone who said Jack could now be kinda zombie-ish like Sayid and Claire. He got blow'd up, then Locke carried him off and said, "You're with me now" or someshit. I dunno. I'm digging it too but I'm still cornfused.

Widmore may not know this, honestly. And it may be to take out his army more than to actually take him out. I would guess if they know to use the sonic-fence thingy they would know something about his imperviousness, so forget that first part. I'm going with the part that they're trying to take out his followers

I'm not so much cornfused about too much. I am very satisfied with the explanation of what the island is (the cork on the bottle) and I don't remember hearing that one thrown out there by fanbois. But I don't read anything about it outside of this thread, and try to avoid any guessing.

If you let Flocke talk to you, does that automatically mean you're controlled to some degree? Claire said Jack was with Flocke cuz he listened to him (or something along those lines)
