I think this is going to be a most interesting speech. I'm interested to see if Obama's air remains defiant, or if he will attempt to come across as contrite.

The Dems are starting to grumble openly, so the backroom conversations between the democratic leadership and Obama staff must be getting pretty heated.

Doesn't matter what he says, the right will hate it and the left will love it.

And there will be some overclapping.

I'm a little confused with this new way the pubs are delivering their rebuttal. Are they trying to make their own state of the union speech in front of their party? It's almost like "I don't recognize that "other" speech, this is the REAL one." It's almost surreal.

Plus this dude's lisp is making me uncomfortable. Although I'm sure he's not gay and has never been gay.

Love the scene they have painted here: middle aged salt and pepper haired white guy surrounded by an army soldier, black woman, asian man and young attractive white female. All they need is a Juan back there to make the picture complete!
