I thought it was kind of creepy at first all the people playing and stuff at Omaha beach. But I guess it is sort of cool that some fun can be had at a place that was once pure hell.

Weird, all of that looks incredibly familiar thanks to CoD3. Great vid.

Yeah, the guide told us that it was a weekend vacation spot before the war and went to being that after. Which is the more honorable thing to do, shut it down and turn it into a memorial or to return it to what it was? No one playing on that beach doesn't know or appreciate the gravity of what happened in that spot. They are enjoying the freedom that those men provided for them. We didn't get to go to any of the other beaches (Utah, Sword, Juno, or Gold) so I can't say what they were like. The whole tour lasted about 5-6 hours.
