It's not real nice to insult eggplant in that manner.

Bad News Bears - Kinda scarily reminded me of the Jacksox, except for the part about getting better in the end. Unnecessary, but still fun.

ARE YOU KIDDING? This one one of the worst remakes EVER. In meh humble opinion of course. A non-cussing non-alcoholic beer drinking Buttermaker is just not right.

Match Point - a lot of opera music and a little slow at times. Other than that, this movie was delicious. The story of a dude who marries into a rich family, but falls in love with his brother-in-law's ex-fiancee. I didn't expect the ending to turn out how it did. And this was the hottest I've ever seen Scarlett Johnannsen.

Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory-It was ok, I guess. I was excited to see how Burton was going to remake one of my favorite movies as a kid. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. My kid dug it. The umpa loopa kinda sucked, compared to the original. 3 out of 5.

what now? I should have seen 3 hour King Kong or that gay ass Chronicles of Narnia? Match Point had lots of adultery. Adultery = interesting.

Cinderella Man - Even if he isn't the most subtle director out there, Ron Howard can still tell a good story. Loses a point or two for being predictable, but otherwise solid all around.

'predictable'? It's a true story. If it was a fiction, then yes, points should be deducted.

It was predictable, not just the fight stuff, but his wife showing up just before the last fight to show her support. It was standard movie stuff that probably didn't really happen.

The Great Raid - Ralph Fiennes did a kick ass job shaking and shivering with malaria. Benjamin Bratt overacted and was pretty annoying. James Franco should have called his buddy spiderman to save the P.O.W.'s. Best part of the movie was at the end when they showed the old footage of the actual rangers and p.o.w.'s

:wanker: :wanker: out of 5

Suspect 0.

Not worth the theatres but ok on the couch with a babe. The premise of C I A operatives being able to see crimes before they happen has been played out before but a twist or two now and then keeps you from turning it off.

2 and 1/2 :goldstar: 's out of 5.

They were FBI agents, I thought. But you're right, the movie wasn't executed nearly as well as it could have been.
Ben Kingsley was good, but Aaron Eckhart and that Matrix bitch were just , eh.

One big ol' eh. I'm watching the end of this right now, and I've already forgotten most of what's happened in this thing.

I don't even care enough to rate this.

Syriana - Greatness all around. Right now, this takes a spot in the top 5 of the year with Walk the Line, Good Night and Good Luck, and Brokeback Mountian (a space is reserved for the New World).

One great disappointment for sure. Way to long and unrealistic. Come to think of it, that describes me a bit.

I must be the only one who liked it. I don't really look for realism when they aren't trying to make it realistic.
