Technically Theon, Sansa, Arya and Myrcella are all open ended too. This show is dumb, though I have better guesses on those.

I know what's going on with Arya. I assume Myrcella is dead. Theon and Sansa most likely survive their jump. There was probably a haystack down below.

I agree with your assumptions. I don't know what's going on with Arya, but I can't say that's my favorite storyline right now, so my interest level is low.

and the show is not really dumb. I can't believe a show with dragons and wargs and blood magic has sucked me in like this.

:babyarm: I was all prepared to say that I'm glad that you guys finally hate this show like all of the others that you can't stop watching.

Anyone watched Deadwood? 11 episodes in. I know this is worse than terd trying to talk to us about Breaking Bad 2 years after the show ended. But it's prettay, prettay good. It took a while to get going for me, but it's going. Maybe in my top 5.

Also watched the first episode of season 3 of OitNB. After watching Boardwalk Empire, GoT and now Deadwood since the last season of OitNB, I realized how bad this show sucks.

A bunch of people have told me I should check Deadwood out. I probably never will.

I like OitNB, but the chick who created it is the same one who did Weeds, which went downhill faster than Dexter did, and that's pretty fast, I tell ya.

It's slow. Almost excruciatingly slow at times. But the characters are phenomenal. My wife doesn't watch it with me, but she was in the room last night wasting time shopping online, and had to leave about halfway through because it (probably the cursing) "annoyed" her. So that's a plus.

I got about 4 episodes in to Orange. I liked it okay except for American Pie guy, but not enough to make time for it. I watched the first episode of the Kevin Spacey vehicle with the same result.

Amazon has a show about DC with John Goodman that looks pretty good. I think I'll watch the first episode of that one so I can go ahead and start ignoring it, too.

It's universally agreed-upon that that dude's role and subplots are a complete waste of everyone's time. I heard he's been written out of the new season. Not that it matters since you don't watch anyway.

He's not in season 3 at all, and as it turns out, season 3 is not a total waste of time. Many lol moments. Lots of personality transplants though.

Watched the season 2 premier of True Detective last night. Pretty good start as it introduces us to 3 tortured souls who were united at the end of the episode.

TBone Burnett's music is awesome as it really sets the tone to the episode.

I'm 3 seasons in to rewatching The Shield. I haven't watched it since it was on. It's still awesome.

I finished OitNB this weekend. It got better, in fact the season taken as a whole is a pretty damn good thing. There was no villain this time to get hit by a truck in the final episode so it never felt as though it was building toward something, but instead the whole season explored several different themes (religion, motherhood, et al). The ongoing arcs will continue next season, which I am looking forward to. Also, lesbians.

It definitely improved. I'd probably give it a 3-3.25 out of 5. It made me laugh a lot more than The Brink (HBO Sundays) has. Black Cindy is a good. Don't love Pensatucky's personality change, but whatever.

I came around on Black Cindy. She was the only one of the sisters I never cared for, but her conversion won me over. I'm with you on Penn, but teaming her up with Big Boo was the season's best development.

Finished season 2 of Deadwood. Phenomenal. #4 drama of all time. Mark it.

Sucks that this thing got cancelled after 3 seasons.

It is number 4 for me as well. 1-3 are pretty solid at this point but 5 changes depending on my mood.

Best locker room speech ever: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z2Q7YRDL90E

Also, I would pay good money to watch an E.B. spinoff.

I have a feeling our #1 and #2 are the same, but #3 is different.

EB is wonderful. So is Doc. And Calamity Jane. And Al is perfectly cast.

Mad Men = begun

Deadwood may have been my #1 if Milch had gotten his 4th season. As it was, the 3rd season felt off. So I recommend it. Highly.

That would be awesome if they could get them all back. It's been 10 years. Ian McShane is 73.

Speaking of Deadwood, I was watching Gone Girl on HBO the other night (1.5 :byewhore: out of 5) and it took me awhile to figure out where I knew Kim Dickens from. Thanks, IMDb, for identifying my favorite deadwood hooker, Joanie, and also her irl name.
