My earliest memories of Norm were him calling Ranger games on HSE in the mid 80s. He was pretty entertaining.

Same here. My first radio experience was my boss listening to KLIF in his office at work. I had no idea he was on the radio.

I think he was on the air with Steve Busby. One of my favorite games I remember: After a long rain delay, Tom Paciorek made a diving catch on the warning track and came up covered in mud. When he came back out in the next inning, he was wearing a clean uniform and Norm lost it. "Buzz, he's wearing a new uni! *wheeze laugh* He's wearing a new uni!" He probably repeated it 5 times. My dad, brother, and I were laughing hysterically.
