Why you should never, ever use two spaces after a period.

Who knew? I was always taught to use 2 spaces in school.

I was taught on a typewriter to use two spaces after a period and a colon. When I moved to a word processor the rule was changed to one space.

I don't know what the official rule is, but two spaces always looked dumb to me. They taught us two spaces in high school. I switched to one space in college and no one either a) noticed, or b) gave a shit.

I like to make fajitas with them by cramming bacon in them and rolling them up and using honey as the dipping sauce. Organizations that invent shit like this don't get enough credit for bettering the world. They really don't.

Very cool pics. I noticed near the end a pic of Big Town Mall shortly after its opening in 1959. If you look across the street, you'll see a sign for an upcoming gun show.
