I felt the same. In the 7th inning the announcers started talking like it was already over and it was driving me crazy. I didn't relax until the last strike of the game.

True story: my brother worked for Six Flags in the late 90s and drove Looney Tunes characters in the Stars victory parade.

Same. I still don’t think I’ve processed this yet.

My 11 y/o son and I watched 150+ games together this year. He’s been basketball/Mavs focused since he was sports conscious, but as he started to get really good at playing baseball, he started to get more into baseball/Rangers (2022). I can’t believe he gets to celebrate this in his 2nd year watching baseball while I had to wait forever, but it made it so much better to enjoy it with him.

I don’t think my emotions could handle sitting around and waiting for a Game 6.
