I hope I'm wrong, because it's been fun to watch, but I still can't see this lasting. The rotation is still full of spares.

Although it looks like they're taking a small step back today... down 12-1 in the 8th :/

Could Chi Chi Gonzalez make MLB debut Saturday for #Rangers? Seems to be emerging as possibility, given circumstances.

Wow. Looking at the first few rounds of the 2013 draft, there are only 2 other names I see that have made it to the bigs. Kris Bryant and Michael Lorenzen. That's going straight off name recognition, so I may be off.

Josh going yard twice against the Boston fuckers is really cool and I love it.

But that doesn't compare to Prince toying with the shift, pitch after pitch, before firing one into left field. He even had a victory look when he tossed the bat away. I hated Prince before he came here. Now he's my favorite Ranger behind Beltre.

And Chi Chi won.

Good grief, Banny's worse at challenging calls than Wade Phillips.

Mrs. Ich and I were at the ballpark today. Awesome walkoff by Josh! Surprising number of Red Sox fans at the stadium.

In his comments on Saturday's game, Banny mentioned how many there were. Glad those fuckers got to go home unhappy.

Joey Gallo did not travel with Double A Frisco on Monday as #Rangers consider moving him to majors or Triple A...

+++++++++++++++++++

Exciting stuff, but I wish he would go to AAA first.

Rangers will purchase contract of 3B Joey Gallo from Frisco on Tuesday. Adrian Beltre goes on 15 day DL with a sprain-laceration-left thumb

We all had the same conclusion at work today. I suppose there is the overexposure thing for Rosales, but dang, that is what he is here for.

Oh well, here goes.

As has been noted, Rangers got Gallo with pick received for C.J. Wilson going to Angels. Halos did get pitcher who can land team plane.

That's pretty funny, but I'll temper my enthusiasm. The hit rate on top prospects is still below 40%. Profar hit a HR in his first game too. Of course, we don't have a manager who will sit high level prospects on the bench now.

I'm really hating not buying the MLB season pass thingy right now. :/

Nice! I got an email yesterday stating that they dropped the price to $99 for the rest of the year! I was gonna wait until after the NBA finals but fuggit.

2 games, 2 homers. Not bad, Joey.

Looks like PoSH is out for 3 weeks with a bad hammy. Checks are still cashin' though so it's all good.

I wonder if that extends Gallo's time here. I guess Mitch could move to OF and Gallo/Beltre could play 3B/DH, but Mitch is pretty lumbery. I don't know. I like that Bannister said if Gallo's not ready to face Sale, then he shouldn't be here. Wash would have sat him.

Seems like it. I've heard so much about Moreland being an OF option in previous years, but it looks like he hasn't played in much since 2011.

I hate to rain on parades (well sometimes I like it, but not this time because I want ChiChi to do well), but that 4/7 K/BB ratio is going to bite him at some point, if he doesn't fix it.

After Saturday's win over the Royals, they are just 3.5 games out of first.

Bitches.

After all the sparedom we witnessed in April, I can hardly believe it. I know it won't last, but this is fun.

Thank you, Rangers.

An extra bonus was watching the Yanks beat the dog fuck out of the Angels while I was sitting in a restaurant. The Hoobstress was amused by my reaction to this game.

After suffering through the Eric Karros announcing experience two Saturdays in a row, I think I'll stop bitching about TAG. At least TAG notices pitching changes during games.
