Baseball season is officially here. I just heard the cry of Oh! Shit! from Beltre after a Rangers home run.

After 121 pitches, Yu looked relieved when he saw Wash coming. That boy tired.

If you'll recall, the '84 Tigers stormed out of the gate to a 35-5 record and pretty much never looked back on their way to a World Championship. The Rangers are playing like they're not gonna let themselves come one strike short (twice!) again.

Good win on a bad call by the umpires. Dumbass TAG insisted it didn't hit him even after they showed a few slow motion replays that clearly showed the ball changing direction after hitting Gonzalez's leg. When they came back from break, he changed his story because he "finally saw it in slow motion".

There is entirely too much cheering going on whenever the Yankees get a hit.

When Pudge got let go, I remember being ok with it at the time, because they told me he would break down soon. Looking back at it, I hate that it happened. The greatest Ranger of all time spent 9 years with other teams and all the Rangers got out of it was a bunch of Rod Barajas, Gerald Laird, Jarrod Saltalamacchia, Taylor Teagarden and Max Ramirez. No young catchers got developed (which was supposed to be the plan) and nobody outside of Benjie Molina's 2010 postseason really would have outperformed Pudge, until Napoli/Torrealba. So in conclusion, fuck Jon Hart.

:babyarm: I remember not liking that he was leaving but we were assured he was going to fall apart in 6 months so it was okay. Baseball is business, you can't win hanging on to players past their prime, right? That's what we were told. So yeah, fuck Hart.

Looking back though it's amazing Pudge stayed healthy as long as he did, esp with the steroids.

It's just one of bazillion things I was wrong about. I was absolutely sure he was finished when he left here.

How many times does Hamilton have to throw his bat before the MLB starts fining him? I think he's thrown it 3 games in a row now.
