On an unrelated note, the AirHogs' season started this weekend. They split the out of town 4 game series against the Laredo Lemurs and start a 3 game series at home tonight against the El Paso Diablos. This weekend they'll be hosting the Kansas City T-Bones (thu, fri and sat). I think I'll take in the Saturday night game. First pitch is at 7:05 pm!

I went to the Roughriders game yesterday. The sun was fucking brutal and my pregnant wife and daughter had to go up and get in the shade while I stayed down, 8 rows up on the first base line, unprotected by a net. I would have died if a foul ball had been hit hard enough my way. There would have been no time to react. I had to buy a stupid t-shirt so my kid could put it between her and the hot ass chair for the 2 innings she watched. They expect and even call for tips at the concession stand. The fans don't cheer for anything except when Frisco scores a run. We left in the 8th for the play park, because the two of them were miserable, only to find out that it closes in the middle of the 7th. A kickass time was not had.

Most of the stands at the Airhog stadium are shaded from the west. Me and the fam had good fun times the 3 or so games we went to last year. Gammita and the wifey have been looking forward to going again. Looks like you moving north has been a complete disaster.

I'm still not convinced Feliz has the right head for a starter. He comes unraveled really easy.

Yeah, I don't know how he stays on the field with his career 0.998 whip, 8.8 SO/9 and 2.67 era. It's fucking chan ho all over again.

Are those numbers from him as a closer? Because I'm only talking about his starts in the bigs. He's proven as a closer that he can get rattled easy and not recover. That doesn't seem like a good trait for a starter to have.

I'll gladly eat my words if at the end of the season those numbers are still comparable.

I don't know what career you've been watching but he was the fucking rookie of the year and an allstar in 2010 and followed that up with a similar year in 2011. Is he Rivera? Of course not but in 2010 and 2011 Feliz had 9 blown saves, Rivera had 10. You don't know what you're talking about and please leave your words alone, you've eaten enough already.

and btw, his numbers as a starter: 3-1, 3.16 era and a 1.195 whip. While it's a very small sample those are really good numbers especially for a twenty fucking four year old.
