On a website called Bugs and Cranks, some guy had this opinion of Tom Hicks:

When confronted with the news of Washington’s trasgression, Hicks could have said what Ryan said. Something to the effect of “Ron’s family. And we look out for our family.” Nope. Hicks had to start throwing around “zero tolerance” language and issuing threats.

Or he could’ve shut his big yap altogether. After all, Hicks sold the damn team. The deal should be final in the next couple of weeks. Unless I’m missing something, the former owner can’t fire anybody.

I'm not one for defending Hicks, but wasn't he still running the show when this went down last summer? He was exactly speaking out of turn by getting involved.

I'm really curious who's telling the truth about Hicks involvement. Why would Nolan lie about it? Why would Hicks? None of that makes sense.
