Middle relief will be the thing that could kill this thing. But a win is a win.

:babyarm: He was pretty good in that role last year, as well as spot starter.

Looks like Byrd is starting again over Murphy, even against the rightie. Byrd is hitting it well right now, so it's hard to argue, but Murphy starting in only 1 of the first 4 games is a little ridiculous.

Millwood needs to figure on throwing 150 pitches in the future.

I'll ask it again. What has management seen from CJ Wilson that makes them think he deserves the setup man spot?

While I agree with you both, it's not like Millwood has lived up to his end of the bargain the last three years. He's gonna have to have a lot more than two good starts before I start feeling bad for him. That said, fuck CJ. Guardado should have that 8th inning spot, if not the 9th inning spot.

What is the deal with April? About to lose 4 in a row. Worst team ever.

Remember that time when the Rangers went 3-0 to start the season? Good times.

The way Kinsler ran the bases you'd think you were watching a video of the Jacksox!

Kinsler with 5 hits and the cycle in the 6th.

Benson was okay. To be honest, I'll take 6 innings and 4 runs, even though that's a 6.00 ERA.

take away his runs scored and RBI and they still win
take away his base running stupidity and they wouldn't have lost
he doesn't sound very valuable to me

I can't wait to see the entire pitching staff rotate out in September.

The red uni's kick ass. Why don't they stick with them? Is it because Ron Washington might get his ass capped by a crip or something?

86 wins.

Feldman looked good again. The West is there to be had.

Can we call Feldman a keeper now? He did a decent job last year, and he's doing it again now. Yes, it was against the A's, but they would have lost this game last year.

So glad to see him taking Benson's spot in the rotation. Never liked that guy, was never in favor of him being signed.

Jim Jack Ranger talk. :soppy:

Once Feldman got rid of the sidearm delivery, he's been their most solid pitcher. He normally doesn't dominate the other team, but he'll sure keep you in a game.

Feldman has been impressive, no doubt, but I still don't see him as a long term guy in the rotation.

We saw the real Brandon McCarthy emerge today. Oh, and Kristy Benson did a good job of putting gas on a fire, too.

Hopefully we saw the real Matt Harrison tonight. 19 consecutive scoreless innings for that guy.

Had a damn hell school activity to attend, missed it, listened to the end of the it on the radio.

They need to get their wins in before they go up against Doo Doo Colon on Sunday. They are 0-12 against that guy.

Yay. Two out of three at Chicago, and they had to beat Colon to do that.

I guess the Bob Sturms of the world will start talking about trading Blalock while he has value.

Dang, they came back to win in the 9th and sweep Seattle. Amazin' stuff. Hope they can keep their heads above water against the Angels.

Hot diggity. They sweep the Angels. Who'd a thunk it?

Hop on the bandwagon, folks. There's plenty of room.
