Texas doesn't play well in Detroit. Let's hope the win streak keeps rolling in a tough ballpark.

Let's get good pitching and defense and take it one batter at a time.

The Hardline had Tom Grieves on today, they were hoppycited like the Rangers were making a pennant run already.

I'm all hoppycited too, but I'll reserved jizzing until around Sept... too many seasons fall apart after the AllStar break when they start playing in 110 heat.

Watching them being one-hit wasn't much fun.

I turned down the sound when they wouldn't stop with the Ramones stuff. I guess they've gotta do something to liven things up.

It's nice of the Rangers to honor Marty Turco when playing in Detroit.
You know...not winning and all.

Fuck it.....we need that Silver boot buddy!

Well sure he was all dreamy looking without his shirt on in Blue Hawaii, but by 76, he'd had it!

Alright, I'm sold on Feldman. I keep thinking he's going to revert back to his old form, but he keeps proving me wrong. He's been the most consistent starter the last 2 years (not that that's saying a whole lot) and his ERA is 2.52 as a starter this year. I don't ever think he'll be a #1 or a #2 guy, but he looks like a nice middle of the rotation guy. When Padilla comes back, they better not move him back to the pen. He has earned, at the very least, a chance to go until he starts sucking. I imagine now that Holland is a starter, they plan to keep him there, leaving McCarthy and Feldman as the two that could be moved to the pen. McCarthy.

Watching the Rangers and the Yankers. Why is there always one asshole fan for the other team that has to make a point of standing up all by himself and clap while the rest of the stadium is booing to show the world that he's a little Yankee fan? I fucking hate Red Sucks and Yanker fans!!!!! :fu: ... east coast!!!!! (except for the rap music....Wu-tang forever baby!)

That slide by Teixeira last night was great. Completely changed the game around. Went from an inning ending double play to a 7 run inning.

At least they won one game in New York. After yesterday's mess, they really needed to.

How is Elvis not rookie of the year?

Every day that it's Feldman's turn to pitch, I am happy. He's 5-0 now.

I don't know what to think about Queerdilla's situation. I wonder if there is more to it than we are hearing, kinda like the Ponson deal last year.

Happy Hoob.

It's 6-6 in the 6th in today's game. If not for McCarthy suddenly losing his way on the mound, it would be 6-2 Rangers.

I wonder how close the Rangers were to giving up on Nelson Cruz, or how many times they were thinking about giving up on him.

Wow. Big Popout whiffed by C.J. to end the game.

And then C.J. drilled Feldman in the back with the rosin bag as they were walking off the field.

I guess we are about to be bombed with talk radio talk talk about trading for an extra starting pitcher or an extra bat for the lineup. Here is my answer to that strategy.

Don't.

The Rangers are better this year because other teams (namely the Red Sox and the Braves) traded us prospects for an extra pitcher (Gagne) or an extra bat (Teixeira) for their lineup. Neither trade worked out for the team trying to get better for the playoffs.

This sort of thing is the lifted skirt and perfumed inner thigh that just gives your team the herp.

Hoob.

To be fair, Gagne sucked, but he did contribute in a couple games, and without him, Boston does not make the playoffs. The trade does go in Daniels' plus column.

Good enough road trip. If McCarthy doesn't meltdown, or Washington doesn't throw Wilson out there after 2 innings, it could have been a 4-2 trip.

First Place Texas Rangers.

Hamilton injury is a blessing in disguise. He will be completely rested in August and September, what I like to call Winning Time.
