If the Rangers are still in it, you will see 35,000 at weekday games and sellouts on weekends. Rangers fever, catch it!

Looks like Dan is right. Ever since the extension, what is Washington's record?

Went to the game Sunday to check out the kid, the dodgers and los tigeres. Game sucked, parking was 15 fucking dollars and all I got was a sunburn. The only good thing about the trip was I got to see the new stadium up close. It made me horny for football.

Sigh. Tonight we were treated to the walkoff wild pitch loss in San Fagcisco. Hitting continues to stink, this time the Rangers got 3 hits in 11 innings. It's like it's 1973 again.

1. I guess we'll be treated to fire Rudy talk on Monday. Does anybody think that he ISN'T telling them to be more selective? I bet Sturm will be all over this on Monday. Of course, I hate Bob and won't hear a bit of it.

2. I'm sick of hearing about Josh H. being out of the lineup as being the reason for the Rangers woes. The Rangers were a good-hitting team long before he got here.

3. June standings-watching when the team plays like this is dumb. Tom Grieve should kick Josh Lewin in the nuts when he starts that crap. Who cares what the Angels did today. The Rangers can't get hits against Grayson County College right now and will be in last place in a couple of weeks if they don't wake up.

4. As I was clicking "off" on the remote, I couldn't help but thinking that losing baseball is STILL better than no baseball.

Hoob.

I think they managed to rack up 30 runs in a game within a few days of one of his last "fire Rudy" rants.

Geez. Finally broke a losing streak. Only got 4 hits in the game, so things aren't fixed.

The Rangers win against the D-Bags in more typical Rangers style, 9-8 in 12 innings. Chris Davis went 4-4. Tom and Josh got into a hypothetical discussion about getting a neck tattoo. It was like watching a baseball game and the Saturday morning Rant suddenly cut into the game.

You could use some baseball.

Hoob.

Two former Rangers are being talked about today and they are on the same team: Milton Bradley and Alfonso Soriano of the Cubs.

Bradley pissed off Lou today, who told him to take his uniform off after the fifth inning and to leave the park.

Looking at various message boards, I see that Cub fans have soured on Soriano's inability to play defense or to not swing for a home run on every pitch.

Many Cubs fans are missing Mark DeRosa, which is pretty funny. That's like missing a fat girlfriend who could cook and could give a BJ but not much else.

The Rangers and Derek Holland lose.

No more first place for the rest of the season. A couple of wives and girlfriends were on TV for a minute. Marlin Bird has a white prize.

Oh, to expand on something I said yesterday. The Injuns traded DeRosa to the Cardinals today. This should piss off some Cub fans and make me giddy.

Lou apologized to Bradley.

If the pitchers can't take the summer heat, then why is it that the hitters are sucking on a fat one?

What in the damn hell is wrong with the lights at the ballpark? Are snow monkeys causing this? Fix that sonofabitch.

Glad to see Tommy Hunter won a game. He should have won his last start, too.

Marlin Byrd should always take the first pitch like Julio Franco usually did. When he took pitches, he got in a good situation and actually got a DAMN HELL base hit with men in scoring position. I wonder if he noticed.

Hoob.

The red shoes win again, sweeping Tampax Bay. Watching it on ESPN was not as fun as a Josh and Tom broadcast, but they still won.

Kinsler didn't deserve to make the all-star team and is not going well at all right now. I thought we got rid of Alfonso Soriano.

Kinsler is just lost right now. The harder he tries to hit homeruns, the less power he has.

Nice sweep. Feldman has been outstanding for a calendar year now.
