I see that a Cubs worker accidentally hit the Harry Caray statue with a golf cart and broke it. Wish I could have taken credit for it. Maybe Asswhip did it. He was always good with golf carts.

The great Tom Vandergriff has died.

Because of this fellow's persistence, we have a baseball team here. If not for meddling by the Astros ownership, the franchise that Montreal got would have been here in 1969.

When that didn't work, he aimed for the Senators franchise. However, he had to battle Charlie Finley to get the Senators to move from Washington. But he got it done.

Just about everything else Arlington has, cheesy or not, happened because of Tom Vandergriff.
