You can be contrary, I'm not offended.

I can only remember drunken Brewers and Twins fans back in the 80s. In one game against the Brewers, my bride and I witnessed lots of fights in the $4 seats. Good times.

There weren't that many Yankee fans cheering here in the eighties. I could go to Arlington Stadium and not have to hear that. I never experienced it at the Ballpark until after they won the World Series in 1996. Then it all changed. The same thing happened after Boston won.

Hoob.

Why in the world do I sign my name after posts? That is stupid.

I can't speak for anywhere else. I only knew Anaheim, but there's a shitload of east-coasters out there. It's kinda like how there's a lot of Cubs fans in Arizona. Eventually you get sick of the snow and get the fuck out of town.

I knew there was someone around that could back me up on that. Those fuckers weren't around at the old stadium and even at the new one until they started winning. Big Unit can suck a dong.

But I bet it was a generic, boring, run of the mill home run with no personality.

Red flag on Texeira

But in exploring the fit between the Yankees and Teixeira, there were some words of caution offered by a former teammate through the New York Post. "The statistics will be there, but this is not a player who will make anyone else on the team better," said a former teammate of Teixeira's. "The numbers indicate an elite player, but if you watch him every day you will realize he is a very good player, not elite."

Whoever said that hit the nail right on the fucking head. That guy is a FRAUD. Good player, but nowhere near the elite player he thinks he is.

He's another guy who put up inflated numbers by playing in a hitter's park. With his huge numbers, he's able to demand elite player money. Don't like it? Change your fuckin' ballpark so every spare AAAA-level ex-Royals piece of shit can't come into town, hit 25 HRs, and demand $10mil/yr on the open market. Fuckin' Rangers are ruining baseball.

They were never an AL wild card. Face.

And it shows your true colors that you would come back with that response.

Oh, man. Edinson Volquez is out for a year with elbow troubles.

Story

The comments after the story are kinda interesting. Some of the comment douches are blaming Dusty Baker.

In the battle of Satans, the Yankees beat the crap out of Boston today, finally winning a game against them. This helped the wholesome and angelic Texas Rangers in the wild card chase.

John Smoltz started for Boston and took the loss. I wonder if he is done now.

The Yankees are one game away from a sweep. A beanball was thrown today and there was an ejection. Good times.
