This is just awesome. It's also the damndest thing I've seen in a long time. And of course, Astros fan douches are attacking this guy.

I just read an article about the Indians pitcher Mike Clevinger, who has been more open about his feelings about the cheatin' Astros. Somehow the subject of how he would pitch to the Astros this season was brought up. His answer was, ''We'll see, it'll be fun.''

I want these fuckers to get beaned some this year, but I really don't think it will happen.

I also want Chuck Morgan (or whoever is doing it now) to play songs about cheating between innings of Astros games, but I don't think that will happen, either.

This is strange but interesting.

The Angels' home opener is against the Astros. A group of Dodger fans (and a few Yankee fans) have bought tickets and will be there just to boo the Astros.

Players were exempt for testimony, I think. The MLBPA wouldn't stand for any punishment anyway and the league doesn't want the legal headache. Their punishment is having to play in Houston.

And now he's suing for $31 million. I am a legal moron so I don't know if he has a case.

Probably not, but this opens a fantastic can of worms.

Should be very interesting since the players called to testify won't be protected like they were in the league's investigation. He may not have a case, but there will be a big push to make this go away before it gets to depositions or a courtroom.



Like everyone else said, immunity was needed to get people to talk and the protection of the union would have kept player punishment in the forefront for months if not years. Hinch and Luhnow had no recourse within the league to appeal their punishment.

I don't think I'd be into it this year. The game would suck without the energy of fans in the stands and the usual grabassery on the field. And we'll definitely miss the Astros catching shit from every direction for being the cheatin' sumbitches they are.

I'm almost desperate enough that I'll take baseball without the energy. But leave it to baseball owners to find a way to shoot themselves in the dick on this. The 114 game proposal was just as ridiculous as the 50 game from the owners, but not countering confirms that owners are content to let everyone sit at home this year.

What's important here isn't whether it's true, but that cap WANTS it to be true. If it's true, it's probably along the lines of what the Red Sox did that year when they cheated their way to a World Series win.

I had the worst day yesterday. But I went to sleep with a smile on my face, thinking about Joe Kelly yelling, "Nice swing, bitch" at Carlos Correa.

It seems odd that would even be allowed to take place. Testing a camera can be done during a practice or warmups. Why is it allowed during a game and especially when the opposing team is pitching? It wouldn't surprise me if this was setup as a diversion to cover some other shady shit happening at the same time.

I've gone pretty easy on the Astros because I don't think they were doing anything that other teams weren't getting away with equally. Since they were stupid enough to get caught, they deserve any retaliation they get on the field (and Joe Kelly was a genius). That said, the hitting coach was a complete chickenshit. Why they didn't sit his ass out for the rest of the year (they could have, he has no appeal rights) or why Dusty didn't send him packing is beyond me.

Seeing all of the yuks about it on Twitter last night was fun.

He's been decent at the plate, so it's hard to rag on him too much. I'm hoping they get sent home hard tonight. I can't stand the idea of them making the World Series and playing the underdog "everyone doubted us" card for a week.

On one hand, I'd love to see the Rays blow a 3-0 lead, but on the other, I'd hate for the Astros to be the ones who come back and win. I hate both these teams, though I hate the Astros more. I'd root for an asteroid to hit Petco Park tonight, but I like that place.

Fuck Toovay and fuck the Stros

Part of me wanted to see the Rays pull it off, but I can't complain about the Dodgers winning. They've turned into one of the big budget super teams, but they have some likeable personalities. It's hard for me to hate Kershaw, Mookie, or Bellinger. A friend of mine said at the beginning of the playoffs said that the Dodgers would win it all if Dave Roberts could find a way to not step on his own weener and Kevin Cash managed to barely out weener step him.
