My first thought of him is definitely from Cocoon, followed by the movie about Enron.

Brian Howe dead at 66. Not sure if Unca Ich supported Bad Company in their shitty 80's phase, but he can have the 44 points anyway.

This is a pretty big one for Rock and Roll Hoob. Little Richard died today at 87.

He was one weird fellow.

He probably should have been. He was a pretty heavy drug user for a while and it could have got him.

Eddie Haskell died. I mean, Ken Osmond died. He was 76.

I think David the Negro had him.

Most surprising tidbit: In 1970, Osmond joined the Los Angeles Police Department, according to Variety. Ten years later, he was reportedly shot during a chase but was saved by his bulletproof vest. He retired in 1988.

Steve Priest, bassist for The Sweet, passed on at age 72. I immediately thought of the intro to Ballroom Blitz:

Are you ready Steve? Uh-huh
Andy? Yeah
Mick? Okay
Alright fellas, let's go!

He introduced everyone that hadn't seen Dazed and Confused to sweaty Matthew McConaughey in A Time to Kill. There were some oddities to it (ie: the sweatiness of all of the characters), but it was a pretty good adaptation of the book.

He probably peaked with Falling Down, a movie that wouldn't fly real well in today's culture.

2 points to Big Jim Jackson for Carl Reiner.

I just got sucked into Ocean's Eleven yesterday. His first acting credit was in 1948 and he still has a role in a film that hasn't been released. That's a career spanning 72 years.

My post is dedicated to Mary Katherine Letourneau Fualaau, (commonly known as Mary Kay Letourneau), who died of cancer at the age of 58.

I really wish I had worked with her. Of course I would have wanted it to be before she decided to bring someone up from the minors.

Apparently he was an anti-masker. Not sure if that was a factor for him catching the virus.

TIL there’s a twitter page devoted to letting people know when celebs reach the “Brimley Cocoon Line”. This alert notifies you when a celeb reaches Brinkley’s age at the time he played a senior in Cocoon (50yrs old and a few months) Just a couple days ago Matthew McConaughey reached that milestone.

That page is why today hurts so bad. They have brought Wilford Brimley back into my consciousness. Puff Daddy hit the milestone on the same day as McConaughey, fyi.
