Hell NO! Every ride in a vehicle, even taxi's are like grand theft auto from point A to Point B all the time. There are so many close calls, its amazing.
I have resorted to the subway for all my travel cuz I just can't handle the white knuckling rides anywhere else.
Even the public busses are bad. its amazing there are not more accidents. Oh, and Road Rage is out of control here... its amazing these people don't have higher heart attack rates.

Seems like an easy solution is just to have 2 sets of doors: 1 at the front of the car and one at the back. Go in one end and out the other. Or doors on opposite sides of the car: Go in one side while everyone is filing out the other. Anything is better than what they have now.

btw, India is even worse than this, believe it or not.
