Sounds like a bad compressor. He'll tell you it's cheaper to buy a new unit than to repair the compressor. When I had my air handler installed last November I used A#1 Air as heard on the ticket and they were really nice.

Mrs. Tit refuses to use A1 again. They fixed us at the old house and she's convinced they screwed us somehow.

I replaced my inside unit blower motor a few years ago for about that much. Getting the electrical connections back together correctly was a little dicey.

The shop where I bought the new motor didn't label any of the wires, so it was a total crap shoot. I only threw a breaker once.

speaking of blacks. I went running at the high school track with lucy (an english mastiff). there were blacks on the track when I showed up. When they saw lucy they scrammed. I like having scary dogs around those people

Oh the electric bill was a little over 200. The 364 was repairs. When I got home yesterday it was 92 in the house. Something or another shorted out.

It's not a killer, but I got weird motor noise coming from under the hood of the car when I turn the AC on. The temporary solution is don't drive with the AC on until someone can look at it, but driving home from work tomorrow is gonna suck.
