I have seen Del Harris in the wild once, too. It was in line at the Cold Stone Creamery in the Legacy Shopping Center in Plano a long time ago. I said to my wife, "hey look, there's Del Harris." She didn't know who he was.

That's how yesterday went. I went to go get a picture of him. I was pushing my offspring in one of those Race Car carts that my daughter spotted from a mile away like this: (These are not my kids)

Image

I was holding my camera in my right hand towards him, but not looking at him or my camera, so as not to tip him off. I got a couple of pics of him and his lady friend. He was smiling at either my camera or my kids. It was a lot of work for a pic of Del fucking Harris, but I was bored while my wife was looking at paint.

Each year, Texas HS football coaches have a big coaches school in July. Coaches go down there to sit through random seminars about the wing-t vs. the spread, see vendor exhibits, and drink. This year, it is in San Antonio.

Also in San Antonio is an anime convention. It is the perfect mix of jocks and nerds. One sports journalist has tweeted several amusing photos of himself with people in costume that he has encountered.

Gordon and Junior did Kasey Kasem voice while music was playing in the background. It pissed Georgie off, and I laughed like a hyena.
