Just went outside for about 30 minutes and threw snowballs at my dog. She loved it.

Just heard that Hoob HS is going to apply for a waiver and not make up the extra two days we missed. Yay.

the management team for this company are a bunch of dicks. I bet the only reason they sent people home is because one of the management team members got in a wreck.

Our place had been open all 4 days (opened at 10 today and Monday). I have a work issued laptop where i can remote in, so I kind of lucked out there.

Christ almighty. Just got home after a long night. Saw the Flaming Lips last night at the Palladium (off I-30). They announced mid-show that it was "snowing like a motherfucker." Shows ends at 12:30 and indeed it was snowing like a motherfucker. Streets and cars were covered in the shit, and the snow sneakily masked the sheet of ice beneath causing a bunch of people, including me, to fall on their asses on their respective walks to their cars. Drove 40 miles through the shit to Frisco to pick up the kids. Arrived around 1:45am, and said, "Fuck it. We're crashing here." Woke up around 10 ready to leave, but first we had to wait for a load to laundry to finish. Apparently, the in-laws's epileptic puppydog had a drooling fit which Titette promptly slipped and fell into. Of course, no one thought of washing her clothes until this morning. Leave Frisco around noon and get home to Wylie around 2:00. Had I made it home last night, I could've made it into work this morning, but fuck that idea now and fuck all this snow.

The dusting of snow that isn't even covering yards on my streets doesn't really look like the 4 inches that the weather and news people have been going apeshit over for the last 3 days.
