An administrator on Sprint's forum contacted me about a special program they are conducting for the new Palm Pre. 5 members will be getting a FREE Pre + 3 months free service. In exchange, we are to offer our honest opinions on the phone and Sprint's service. We are also to be open about the program.

I am so stoked. I get meh free Pre in 2 weeks. Jasm, murph, jorples n shit. woot!

That's awesome. I was contacted by this person in Africa who has heir to some throne and their father died and left them $10 million USD but they need someone over here to cash the money or their country will take most of it because of some weird laws. I should be getting a huge check any day now.

Yes, Walt Mossberg is telling everyone that will listen that the Pre is nice but will be obsolete once the new iPhone is released. Of course, he said this while standing in line at the bank to cash his check from Apple.

At the one month mark now. I have to say it's a pretty damn nice phone. There's still some key features missing. Plam's already rolled out 3 updates so it seems like they are on top of it. Last week they started accepting user submissions for the App Catalog so I'm hoping some stuff starts showing up there soon.

I still have a couple of months to go in the review period. As for whether I'll keep it after that I dunno. I still want to take a look at the Touch Pro 2 when it drops.

Fine, since I don't have iTunes loaded on my PC. On a Mac iTunes is fine, on a PC it's over-bloated resource hogging crapware. Drag and drop ftw.
