I think too he feels the need to take up for his "friends" in sports. He's usually quick to qualify any negative statement with "now this isn't a knock on so-n-so, but he sucks". I'm sure he's chummed it up with Garret over the years and is hesitant to say anything negative about him. It's much easier to kick Roy Williams who he has zero acquaintance with. |
