So can that new ratings system tell when everyone turns their radio off or changes the channel?

I listened a little to day to Whitt and Greggo. What a fucking disaster. The topic was the news about the Supreme Court deciding not to hear the Plano candy cane 1st amendment case. I can not think of a more horrible idea than that topic or two worse people to discuss it. So very fucking failed.

Hearing that Whitt and Greggo have a show together sounds surreal to me after reading his crap articles through cokegate. He always sounded like he worshiped the Ticket just a wee much. I'll bet every day on this sure-to-be shortrun job is radiogasm for him.

I almost drove off the road screaming at the radio during their discussion of the Challenger explosion yesterday. They were playing back the CNN live broadcast and Corby was railing on and on about how the NASA announcer was acting like he didn't know what was happening. "Couldn't he just look up and see that the thing exploded? The people watching on TV were able to figure it out." Dumbass, the NASA types that run that kind of thing are in a bunker in Houston, a thousand miles away, looking at computer screens with data. Any chuckle fuck that's seen Apollo 13 should know that.

I'm glad I missed that and you are exactly right. The guy was reading off the speed readings that occurred right before the 73 second mark and he didn't know.

Once again, Corby is a dumbass.

If you need to hear hyperbolic statements, tune into any college football segment on the Hardline and I guarantee Corby will throw one down in 2 minutes or less. In the course of 60 seconds today, he said that TCU-Boise St. was the game of the year in college football and that Andy Dalton is a "transcendent rookie QB" in the NFL.

:babyarm: times a fucking million.

For some reason, college football talk (or Pearl Jam talk) triggers some sort of chemical imbalance with that guy.

"If you think that lung cancer is the only thing that killed Paterno then that's ridiculous."

According to Dr. Corby, if the Sandusky fiasco would have never happened, Paterno would still be coaching, cancer be damned.

Corby, earlier this week when discussing the possibility of the Rays being held liable for Matt Bush nearly killing a guy whilst driving drunk:

"If that happens, the Rangers will be forced to cut Hamilton on the spot."

I think I actually screamed after he said it.

He's the only person I've ever heard say it (except for Danny, now) and once he starts he's unstoppable. He'll say it 5 times in a segment or he won't say it all.

I suppose it's possible to rig it where a waiting toll cop is alerted when you pass through a gate, but so what? It's not like you can force them to pony up a bunch of dough right on the side of the highway.
