It's really disappointing to have one of the Ticket's best shows shut down early because of Hockey. I wonder what the numbers are when comparing regular Hard Line show numbers versus a generic Stars broadcast.

Hockey is god awful on the radio. Shit, why not listen to a damned car race on the telegraph, while you're at it?

What other sports talk radio show should we make #1?

I like how they were touting their #1 status as the most streamed radio station. Well no shit Sherlock, you've got the signal strength of a high school radio station. The only way people can listen is by streaming.

I could have avoided this dogpile if I'd just said "Hugo's a cunt".
So, I'll just say, "Hugo's a cunt". And not anything else. "Hugo's a cunt".
There.

Warning: I sound like Mister Q.

I hate when one of my favorite shows gets pre-empted by hockey and Wade during the same afternoon. It really stinks.

Why can't Wade do his press conference during the noon-3 shift? It would be a perfect fit.

Today the Rangers may win and go to the World Series. The game will probably end between 6:30 and 7:00. The Ticket will want to do something special and maybe stay late. Maybe some sort of Diamond Talk thing.

But they can't. They are contractually bound to broadcast the Stars. Dumbasses.

The Ticket needs to stay away from being a flagship station for any team. I'd rather they be completely independent so no opinions are called into question, and also to avoid shit like these fucked up conflicts.

This might actually matter right now if anyone around here really gave a shit about hockey. The only person in this area even remotely qualified to determine if their opinions are unbiased hosts a noon to 3 show on the station.

True, but you can argue that Bob is the most unbiased when it comes to talking about any sport, even if he REALLY loves the team. Close second would be Craig. The rest are complete homers except Norm who gets his opinions from Vegas.

Really, Ticket? Cutting out on a Friday at 6:00 for a stupid ass game that nobody will be listening to. Can't they move this to some other "seeeeeester" station? Fuck a duck.

For the sake of all that is holy, I hope they don't re-up with the Stars again.

And then this happened: the Cowboys are playing in round one of the playoffs, and the Stars are playing that night. They are moving the Stars game to 570 to accomodate post-game shows.

Wish those fuckers had thought of that before. Or maybe they realized that only tens of people were listening to hockey. I know, I know, football, Cowboys, go suck my dick.
