Why do you have the Baltimore Sun managing editor from the wire as your avatar?

He was in season 3 of Breaking Bad and played Mel's husband in FOTC. Has there ever been anyone in three better tv shows?

And while she continued to fawn all over the Bret and Jemaine, he still put up with her. Genius show.

It's business time!

I just googled FOTC videos. Thanks Somey for the walk down memory lane.

Obviously to you whippersnappers this guy is out. I am shocked that he was black.

His hit song "A Hundred Pounds of Clay" in 1961 was so whitebread and boring and I just assumed he was a Pat Boone wannabe.

What the hell was so great about his show? Maybe I'm young enough that I needed more explosions and lasers in my weekend morning tv viewing, but I just never got Mr. Peppermint.

I wonder if the Headline will even consider this one:

Dave Hill, the golfer.

His high point was the late 60s, early 70s when he won some tournaments and nearly won the U.S. Open in 1970.

My best memory of him is for getting into trouble with the PGA for saying what was on his mind and getting DQ'd in a tournament for his odd behavior.

I'll be the only one here to vote him in.

Finally, the Raiders are free to start rebuilding themselves into a winning franchise. I look forward to the day when the Cowboys can do the same!

He's had a rough week. First the Red Sox get eliminated, followed by the Yankees and finally last night the Phillies. I'm afraid Al Davis' passing will push him over the edge.

Taz DiGregorio

Saw Taz play with The CDB when I was a mere teenage Ich!

He also produced The Winters Brothers Band which was a mildly successful southern rock band in the late 70s, early 80s.

Taz presented Billy Powell, Lynyrd Skynyrd keyboardist, the bronze cast of the Free Bird that always sat on Powell's piano during shows.

Whether you like southern rock or not, Taz contributed. In!

Birmingham Blues

Taz kicks in at the 14 second mark.

She's gonna be lumped in with Cobain, Morrison, Joplin and Hendrix no doubt.

Remember all the Winehousers saying she could have died from withdrawal shock? Not so much.
