Why the fuck is Gordon spending so much time defending Steve Blow? Is he a friend of his? The guy joked about sexual assault with a tween. I'm not going crazy about it but I understand how someone would. What I don't understand is why he feels the need to defend his little buddies by giving sermons about how the the alt crowd isn't sophisticated enough to like the mainstream media. |

I didn't hear it personally, but someone in the comments of Front Burner said that Gordon was making the same joke during Muse in the News yesterday before Blow's blog post. That could be his reason for trying to rationalize this. |

As stated before, I like monkey Gordon just fine, but he needs to dance with what brought him. When he ventures away from that he sounds like your everyday Dallas douche that tries to sound like they're more cultured than they actually are. He also falls apart really quick when he's just in conversation and over-tries to be funny. Just stick to the bits. |
