I'm having Rogue Dead Guy. Mellow Mushroom has it on draft. Brewed in Oregon. Pretty potent little beer. 6.50 per draft though. They brought me a small Franconia, which is brewed in McKinney. They said it was similar. It was ok. The northwest > Texas. |

Tonight we're kicking off the holidays with a sixer (that means six pack) of Leinenkugel's Cranberry Ginger Shandy. If it sounds gay it's because it is. But it has a nice flavor, rather sweet and light. And the cranberry will keep my wiener clean or something. |

Friends came over Saturday night and we drank. A lot. I had a 12-pack of Shiner Oktoberfest. There are 2 left. I drank them all. The others brought their own shit. Also did a shot of Bacardi and a shot of Dewar's, which I know you're not supposed to shoot, but we were playing a card game that required me to take a shot and I didn't want more Bacardi because it tastes like rubbing alcohol. I was pretty shitfaced. Also had extra doo-doo on Sunday (band name!). Seriously, I took 4 shits yesterday. Booze lubed me up good back there. Would drink again. |

That is an awful lot of liquor to drink. I'd be a wreck all week if I drank that much. Here's a forum memory: Bad Kitty used to post when she'd get drunk. You could always tell because she would have a ton of misspelled words. She was such a hoot. Card games are fun. What did y'all play? Was it Skip Bo? What you call extra doo doo, I consider a normal day, if we're just talking poop counts. I can't speak to the quality of your drunken bms, but I suspect they would fall in the inflammation ranges of the Bristol Stool chart, which would in laymen's terms be the shits. Mine are all gloriously healthy these days, most closely resembling Type 4. |

The game we played was called Coolcats & Asshats. Very simple and if you're the asshat, you have to do something stupid or embarrassing. It's fun for drunk people. Like my friend had to do the worm breakdance thingy on the floor. He ended up hitting his face and it might've left a mark. (Yes, we have wood floors.) I'm typically a solid 1 BM per day guy. Been a little constipated lately, so the roto-rootering of my darkest recesses was welcome. When I wasn't pooping, I was farting and they smelled like eggs. I was self-conscious while shopping at Sprouts. Also forgot, that my friends, jokesters that they are, brought me a big can of Budweiser because it's dogshit beer, so I started the night consuming a Bud tall boy. I really drank a fuckton that night. |

I am not much of a drinker any more and after the surgery I cannot drink beer (not a big deal, grew out of the beer phase a while ago). I will miss the occasional Champagne, though. I also cannot have anything carbonated, so my drink options have to be altered to avoid cola/soda mixers. I have also been advised to avoid super-high levels of sugar. So it appears that straight vodka is the answer. Just kidding. I read that tequila, whiskey, and rum all have zero sugar, but now I need to find things they mix with that are not carbonated and also don't contain sugar. Like any good middle-aged teacher, I enjoy a margarita. Unfortunately, triple-sec contains a shit-ton of sugar. But most of the "just add tequila" mixes I see in the stores have no sugar and are super low on calories. Yay. One of the major points of the surgery I had is there is much less time/space for food absorption during digestion. But apparently alcohol absorption happens much quicker. So I will be a really cheap drunk. I think I'll get a bottle of Tequila on the way home. What's the one Emmit pitches? Hurrrrrderrrruh? I bet it's good. Maybe I'll ax the guy at the liquor store. |

I got a bottle of this for Christmas. Sooooo good. The head stock is actually a mini bottle you can fill up and use a flask. Don't know how much sugar is in it though.
