I love me some falafel. the falafel at afrah was kinda green when you bit into it. I heard that was a more Turkish rendition. anyhoo, this place in fort worth used to make the same kind and would pair it with eggplant in their pita. so good. |

We went to the great to visit city of New Orleans this weekend. Always a good time. Stayed in the Garden District. According to my wife, who owns a fit bit  ,we logged 34,000 steps on Saturday. That's an s-load of walking. Hit up Commander's Palace for dinner which was a first for me. It did not disappoint. No sightings of Emeril.

That place is really good. Best mushroom swiss burger I've ever had. Greasy like a mug. They also have a peanut butter burger but I've never tried it. |
